DANNY SPITZ

Danny Spitz, CEO and Managing Partner, brings two decades of experience to Greenstone Partners. Known for retail, mixed-use, office, flex, and industrial transactions, the Chicago-based, commercial real estate brokerage firm has expanded under the guidance of Danny, who prompted the addition of multifamily brokerage – a natural complement to the firm’s comprehensive expertise. He also serves as Greenstone Partners’ Managing Broker and is an active advisor, with a career transaction volume of more than $850 million.

Prior to joining Greenstone Partners, Danny was a Managing Director of Investment Sales with Baum Realty Group and pioneered the commercial division of @properties. He started his career as an underwriter for commercial lending at a large Chicago bank. There, he acquired the skills necessary to serve all client types and competently analyze any real estate product type. Throughout his career, Danny has worked expertly on urban mixed-use assets, retail strip centers, development land, office buildings, adaptive re-use development, and has transacted on apartment towers and grocery-anchored shopping centers.

He is a licensed Managing Broker in Illinois and Wisconsin, and an active member of the ICSC. Danny graduated Cum Laude from Arizona State University’s W.P. Carey School of Business with Bachelor’s Degree in Finance with Honors.

Outside the office, you can find Danny spending time with his family, raising three children, coaching youth sports, attending concerts, and participating in a wide range of sports, including basketball and golf.
